I tried this and was absolutely satisfied with my results! My skin is combination to oily type, and this product really left my face feeling clean! I enjoy the earthy aroma with the exfoliating micro-beads! I've been reading a lot of comments on how the old formula was better! But I love this new formula! Thank you!

This is my go-to facial cleanser. Unfortunately, they reformulated the product with no warning within the last month or so (today is 30Jul25). The old product was thick, white, with blue flecks and worked wonderfully (also smelled divine). The new product is runny, green with blue flecks, smells horrible, and doesn't make my face feel the same. I called today as soon as I opened my new product as I was horrified that there was no notice given to those of us who subscribe/order regularly. Please, please, change it back. 🥴

I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and I really love it. It smells light and fresh and leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft. My skin is super oily so this works well for me without making me feel dried out.

I have been using the Purifying Gentle Foaming Cleanser (with Alpine meadowsweet) for many years and have absolutely loved the formulation. The smell was fresh, lightly herbal and helped create a soothing relaxing atmosphere in my morning and evening routine. I came to anticipate this deep breathing while washing my face. The texture was also perfect especially for summer with just the right amount of exfoliant for my sensitive skin and an exclusively fresh feeling (over the creamier face washes I prioritize during the winter). I just opened the new formulation and upon using it was exceedingly disappointed. I am afraid if the previous formulation is no longer available I will no longer purchase this brand moving forward. The scent, whereas previously my favorite element of the experience is now perfumed and artificial and somehow manages to no longer feel fresh, instead lingering on my skin like a cheap perfume. The texture manages to be at once to creamy and rough with tiny sharp abrasive elements without the foamy freshness and gentle exfoliation I had come to love and expect. After the wash my skin feels dry and tight and aggravated. What happened?? Why this downgrade? Why change something that had worked so well for years? Granted the previous formulation had one downside. It tended to dispense more cleanser than was needed for my face, introducing some waste but I am happy to return to this over having to use this current formula. I will try it a few more times but suspect I will not finish this container. I am disappointed and saddened at the loss of one of my favorite facial care products for years. If you ever return to the previous formulation I will return but right now I am not going to purchase this product again.
