Happy ... Healthy lips
Bought two lip balms - Pure Goat Milk and Vanilla Absolut - and they are what I reach for now. I apply once and they last. I like the feel and the fact that the results last. It used to be that the second whatever I was wearing wore off or got wiped off, I'd be biting off the dry skin on my lips unt...

I was attempting to step out of my occlusive (and humectant!) comfort zone and add a new lip balm to my evening routine. This formula seemed to fit the bill! While the ingredient list in and of itself seems promising, the resulting formula dosn't deliver. I understand there is not meant to be a scent, but there also is not meant to be an underlying off-putting taste. It lacks the typically pleasant and very slightly fragrant scent the listed ingredients typically yield. Furthermore, It is also slightly drying, and in no way emollient. Most disappointingly, the lip balm was delivered in a bland yellow tube, with no resemblance to the pictured design. (I ordered the Pure Goat Milk Balm.) In fact, it seemed to lack any elements of design at all. I wouldn't normally mind the apperance, but in this case, the deciding factor for me in choosing this balm versus another was the cute little gingham tube! I have two lip balms already in rotation, and neither is aesthetically pleasing. No big deal, but I was hoping for a third that was both effective and cute. This one is not that!
Swing and a miss
I gave this product 2 stars solely because it didnt seem to *harm* my lips. But as a lip bam, this went in the trash as soon as I realized I'd missed the return window. I know goat milk isn't like, the *best* fragrance on earth, but this lip balm straight-up STINKS. It's so thin and oddly greasy without being hydrating at all. I tried using this when my lips were moderately dry and then again when they were mildly dry — there is just no circumstance where I'd reach for this tube beyond a literal emergency with zero other options. I bought this based on the good reviews + my love of this brand's Bakuchoil serum, but after having used it myself, I am BAFFLED by how highly this is rated.
Very Pricey
The lip balm is nice but not worth the price. It is also over packaged, which is extremely wasteful and only adds to the cost.
It's fine/OK, but not my favorite
It is not a "repairing" or "moisturizing" lip balm, but a decent "protecting" waxy lip balm in the "chapstick"-style. Pros: no fragrance, no flavor, good ingredients, feels like a decent protective seal over your lips. Cons: not moisturizing, its stiff dry thick wax texture can "pull" on tight/dry/ripped lips (and make things worse), does not last as long as others (so that I find myself reapplying every hour-ish), does not help repair or heal tight/dry/ripped lips. I have found that the Jack Black style of lip balms that come in a tube to be thick, protective, moisturizing and repairing. I wish the unflavored didn't smell/taste kinda gross, but the others have some minor SPF along with flavoring (which I usually don't want but it's OK, on balance, here). I'll just go back to it after I finish the Beekman; and FYI, Beekman 1802 is probably my favorite skincare brand. I have liked everything I have purchased and used (probably half their growing lineup of products available on Ulta) and this is the only one I don't really think is worth the price, and only by a little bit.
Love this lip balm
This Beekman lip balm is great it really keeps my lips soft. I've been using it for many years and have not found a thing better. Hopefully this will stay available I can't live without it.
