The Hot Tools Professional Black Gold curling iron truly is a professional curling iron. I cannot believe how good it works. I promise you this iron will not leave a crimp mark on your hair ever. It heats up extremely fast, which is nice when you are in a hurry. I keep the heat set at 345 degrees, which is the perfect setting for my thin hair. Both the wand and the handle rotate, and they can both be locked in place as well. I love the swivel cord. You can pretty much use the iron at any angle and get a great curl.

I got this curling iron a couple weeks ago and I like it. It took me a while to get used to the rotating handle but after I did it was smooth sailing. It does a great job at giving my hair the curls I love. Also the auto shut off is a great feature because sometimes I run late and forget. Overall I'm glad I got this and would recommend it.

First of all, let me start by saying there is a learning curve to using this type of curling iron. I had a stylist friend show me some tips, but it felt very awkward in the beginning. It took a couple of weeks before I really got the hang of it, but it is so worth the extra work and now my curls look almost as good as when I go to a stylist. Once you figure it out, it is much quicker than a traditional curling iron and I'm sure better for your hair as well. I love the range of temperature as I need to go pretty high on my thick, coarse hair. If you're willing to put in the time to learn how to use this, it will totally change your curling game!

I received this in the mail, and I'm not extremely excited, but it gets the job done. The instructions to this device were non existent which led to a lot of unnecessary googling…. I couldn't find any help there.. my daughter has beautiful long blonde hair and she got it to look some-what pretty and curled. We are still trying to figure it out….

I recieved this curling iron a few weeks ago. So far i love it but i am trying to get used to the rotating handle. Both ends of the handle rotate but you can also lock both side into place. Only complaint i have i have medium long hair and the barrel on this curling iron is a little short. You will get almost a beach wave look with this.
