I don't have this particular Marcel iron, by the Hot Tools Marcel iron I purchased is no longer available. The temperature control settings are great, and the iron does get very hot. I received this from tryit sampling. I really liked this curling iron! I have short hair and the way the handle is made helped me with maneuvering my hair in the curler and such. It gets just the right temperature and isn't damaging to my hair.

I love this curling iron. I am always looking for a new iron that does my hair better and easier. The temperature control settings are great, and the iron does get very hot. No clamp mark from a spring loaded clamp is wonderful and keeps from having those weird crimps come through.

This is a nice curling iron to use but please read the directions before using. The curling iron is slightly different since the handle requires some practicing because its a loose handle. The curling iron does have some great heat setting for tighter curls.
