Always start with clean, dry hair, spraying heat protectant liberally throughout. Brush and section hair.
Curling Instructions: Set iron to the desired temperature for your hair type. Ensure you are wearing the heat resistant glove before you start styling. Beginning with a 1" section, wrap hair around wand and hold for 8-10 seconds, then release.
PRO TIP: Stop wrapping when you reach the section's last ¼ - ½" so ends stay uncurled for a beachy style~~.~~
PRO TIP: Once you release a section from the wand, cup it from the bottom with your hand and reform the curl. Either hold it or pin it until it's cool to make your style last even longer. Repeat with remaining sections until entire head is styled. Once curls are cooled, brush through for soft curls and waves.
Straightening Instructions Set iron to desired temperature for your hair type. Beginning with a 1" section, clamp hair at the root and run slowly through to ends. Repeat as needed until section is styled. Repeat with remaining sections until entire head is styled.

I like the concept of 2 in 1 product (straightener/curler). Something that could be great to have while traveling were you only need to carry one product instead of two. It also saves space. I have thick long hair and bangs
I bought this last year to take on a trip so i wouldn't have to choose between a curling iron or flat iron to pack. This tool is perfect for beachy waves and works well at ironing my bangs. I unfortunately don't love it for straightening my hair, but I think thats because my hair thickness and length has always straightened better with a wider plated tool. My mom borrowed it to flat iron her medium length hair and she thought it worked well. So your results may vary but perks are it heats fast and travels well.
Does not keep anything in place
I got this for free and was hoping id like it but i had to use my dyson for the curls and different straightening tool. Its sleek so looks wise i like it a lot. But didnt do well for my hair which is odd my hair thin and curly and very flexible usually.
If you have thick hair i don't recommend
It seams flimsy, it didn't grasp my hair very well.

I was undecided between this product and a flat iron. I wanted to straighten my hair but found out that I could buy this versatile tool. I love that I could do two things at once. Curls came out in spirals amd they held!

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
I have had this a couple of years and use it almost every day. I have very thick curly hair. I love that I can go through it and straighten it and then add some nice curls without switching tools. Also love that I can adjust the heat on it.
