Start with clean, dry hair, spraying heat protectant liberally throughout. Brush and section hair. Set wand to the desired temperature for your hair type. Ensure you are wearing the heat resistant glove before you start styling. Beginning with a 1" section, wrap hair around wand and hold for 8-10 seconds, then release.
PRO TIP: Stop wrapping when you reach the section's last ¼ - ½" so ends stay uncurled for a beachy style.
PRO TIP: Once you release a section from the wand, cup it from the bottom with your hand and reform the curl. Either hold it or pin it until it's cool to make your style last even longer. Repeat with remaining sections until entire head is styled. Once curls are cooled, brush through for soft curls and waves.

New Favorite Tool
I am loving using the 24K Gold Collection 1" Extended Barrel Curling Wand - it is so easy to use, and creates the most beautiful barrel curls with ease. It is fool proof and quick to use compared to so many other wands. It is also pretty and lovely colors!
Long Hair Approved Curling Wand
This product was gifted by Hot Tools, and I've been really enjoying adding it to my styling routine. I have really long hair, so one of my biggest struggles with curling wands is that most barrels just aren't long enough. The 6" extended barrel is my favorite feature because I can wrap my hair around it without feeling like I'm running out of space. It makes styling much faster and easier compared to other wands I've used. The wand heats up quickly, and I like being able to adjust the temperature based on what my hair needs that day. The end result was soft, bouncy curls with lots of movement that lasted all day. My curls looked polished without feeling overly done, which is exactly the look I usually go for. Between the extended barrel, customizable heat settings, and easy-to-use design, this is definitely a tool I'll keep reaching for when I want curls that last.
One of My Favorite Curling Irons

Absolutely love this curling iron!
I've tried so many curling irons over the years, and this one is by far one of my favorites!
