I used this on dry hair prior to curling. my hair was shiny and beautiful when brushed through but oily. It curled well though they would not finger brush out to any volume. This product might have protected my hair but it did not work as well as others for my naturally straight hair.

I've used heat protectants in the past that would make my hair crunchy if I sprayed it on dry hair. this stuff works GREAT on both damp and completely dry hair. it doesn't make my hair feel sticky or crunchy at all! definitely my new go-to.
