I can't say enough good things about Makeup Revolution. The products are within a reasonable price range, and they all deliver the same results as pricier brands. I wish I'd found this brand hundreds of dollars ago! This Pore Blur Primer goes on smoothly and makes my skin look flawless. The consistency is super-silky. I can even wear it without any powder or foundation. My skin can still breathe, and it helps my makeup last for hours instead of minutes. Remember: a little goes a long way, so be careful when squeezing the bottle. The best little trick I discovered: use a bit of this primer on your eyebrows before filling in with a pencil, gel, etc. The primer helps the brow makeup stay in place. My brow makeup lasts all day, with only minor touch-ups needed (if any at all) late into the evening. I'll definitely buy this again when I run out!
I was excited to try this as I like pore blurring primers best but so far all it's done is make me look like an oil spill an hour into my day. I used it for a whole week with the Makeup Revolution Conceal & Hydrate foundation and I thought maybe the hydrating formula mixed with the primer was too slippery for my skin so I tried with a different foundation but it was still oily. I tried using a different moisturizer that wasn't as heavy as my go to with a matte foundation and this primer, and set with powder like I always do and so far so good. I wish I didn't have to experiment with a week's worth of makeup to get it right. Bottom line: it's an okay primer when it likes what you pair with it.
Forgot the very important step!!
This primer MUST be shaken vigorously to combine or the it will be very oily!!! It then applies with a smooth, lightly matte finish, delivers as promised!!
Some of the reviews are saying that this product is oily, but I think they might be thinking of another primer from this brand. This brand has several different primers are similar, so it would be easy to get them mixed up. This particular one is not oily at all. It's slightly creamy and blurs pores well. I just use a little dab between my eyebrows and on my cheeks. I like it.
Been searching for a new primer since the one I had used for years decided to "improve" the formula...So pleased this one preforms as advertised! After using it for 3 days, ordered 2 more. Able to wear it alone for no-makeup days.
I'm always looking for ways to hide my pores. Recently chose this brand looking for something more reasonably priced and easier to use. Yuck, it oozes oil and my foundation didn't cover well anywhere that I used the Pore Blur Primer. I wish I could get my money back honestly.
This product truly works. I have bigger pores next to my nose and healing acne. This helped my concealer cover any blemish flawlessl!
