That said, it leaves a more hydrated, dewy finish, so if your skin is very oily or you prefer a matte look, you might pair it with a mattifying primer in oil-prone areas like the T-zone. I love a primer/sunscreen combo, so this was a no brainer for me. I don't really like applying too many layers before foundation so I typically reach for products like this in the morning. I'm happy to report that there was no white cast and my makeup does last pretty well with this product.

What I love about this Smashbox Primer is how beautiful and radiant my skin looks and at the same time that this photo finish invisible primer contains SPF45. This primer has a slightly sticky, tacky feel that helps makeup adhere and last longer. I used it under a tinted moisturizer and noticed it gave my skin a nice dewy glow without any white cast, which I appreciate as someone with dark brown skin. It also felt lightly hydrating, even if it's not technically a moisturizer. I have dry skin, so I liked the finish, but I think people with very oily skin might prefer to pair it with mattifying products.
