I have been using the pore-vanishing primer for years and Smashbox recently changed the formulation and it doesn't work as well anymore. It doesn't fill my pores as well and it also turns into flakes when I try to put my foundation over it.
I would not purchase this again
This is the new version of the pore minimizer that they recently discontinued, and it's horrible. The older version minimized my pore and gave me a matte finish that kept my shine down for hours. This new version adds shine and does nothing for my pores.

This product is a lotion like consistency rather than the normal thick paste, which I love since it is super lightweight. The only reason for the lack of a star is that it didn't hold the makeup all day and I had to do a touchup. I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes.

is it good for dry skin or is it mattifying?

I have never had this problem with the other pore minimizer, but after i apploy it, I have to blend it in, or it will literally crumb off my face, and mess up my makeup. Why is it doing that? Are you suppose to put it on and then let it sit for a few minutes? I never had that problem with the other pore minimizer, so it is weird. It like just clumps together and rolls of the face
