is it good for dry skin or is it mattifying?

I have never had this problem with the other pore minimizer, but after i apploy it, I have to blend it in, or it will literally crumb off my face, and mess up my makeup. Why is it doing that? Are you suppose to put it on and then let it sit for a few minutes? I never had that problem with the other pore minimizer, so it is weird. It like just clumps together and rolls of the face

I really like this primer. I'm not usually a primer girlie at all – maybe occasionally for eye makeup, but just didn't feel pulled toward it previously. I've had this primer a few weeks now, and I keep finding myself reaching for it. It feels really light on my skin. When I put it on after my skincare routine in the morning, just by itself it evens out and brightens my skintone – kinda a blurring effect on my fine lines and dark spots. Usually in the morning I use a tinted SPF, and by the time I get home from work, it's all rubbed off. With this Smashbox primer, my makeup stays put throughout the day and well after I get home. It's got a very slightly tacky feeling going on, which I appreciate as it's easier to tell where I've applied it, but it absorbs quickly and feels fine – just smooth and silky and not intrusive at all and with no scent. I'd buy more to replace it when I run out. I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes.

I had bought extra of the pore minnimizer photo finish (the former product) because it was the best. I now ran out and tried the new product and agree with other reviewers, that it does not compare at all to the discontinued product.

Great for my pores
Maybe it was sitting in store longer than usual??
I bought this primer in store the day before I used it. When I first pumped it out, it was straight oil. I shook the bottle and it still came out as a mix of oil and primer. I had to shake it really hard just to get it usable, which is pretty frustrating for a brand-new product.
