Would I apply this before or after moisturizer? I don't typically wear foundation and am just lhooing not to shone later in the day. I work in an office and use a conputer (read: blue light concerns) for most of the day.

I have used this product before makeup and without makeup. I like it both ways. It really helped control oil and shine throughout the day. If you are acne prone this is also great choice. It containes Salicylic Acid, Witch Hazel and Zinc. Also, has other ingredients like hyluronic acid and antioxidants to help keep your skin looking amazing and not dried out.I feel it does help control oil throughout the day. Although I do not have terribly oily skin. All in all I highly recommend. I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes.

This is great primer for combination skin. It is lightweight and does not feel gluey. The skin is silky to touch and does not feel tight. I apply this primer on top of my serum.The foundation and powder layer without any issues. The makeup sits nicely and does not slide.i do not have any dryness after removing my makeup. Lasted All Day, But I Wish It Was Stronger...

It has been a long time since I used a primer, which is mainly because I wasn't impressed with the previous product I used. So, when I received this Oil Control Mattifying Primer from Smashbox I wasn't expecting very much. I applied a pea-sized amount to the back of my hand and then used my middle finger to apply small amounts to my entire clean face first thing in the morning, it went on easily and it has no scent and seems to dry immediately and it left my skin feeling very smooth and dry (not in a harsh way). I used a small amount of foundation and concealer under my eyes and skipped my normal setting powder, incase it was too drying. It wasn't surprisingly! My forehead wasn't greasy during the afternoon, like it usually is, and it lasted until I washed my face in the evening. It does help with the mattifying quite a bit, my only complaint is that I wish it had helped my eyeliner to stay on my eyes and not smudge under my lower eyelids as the day progressed. I have been using it for about five days consistently and I have not noticed any lingering drying effects. I would recommend this product - it is beneficial and easy to use while adding only an additional minute to your beauty regimen. I have always had combination skin, but when using any primer my main struggle was oily skin. The first thing I noticed about this product was it didn't feel heavy or have a weird smell. It went on smooth and did not take long to dry or feel sticky. On the very first day of using this product, I got a compliment on how smooth my make up looked that day! First day!
