I have used the smashbox anti redness primer on a few occasions. Some days I use it under makeup and some just on its own or under sunscreen. I didn't notice a difference compared to not using and other redness product. I used a pea sized amount as is in the directions. I did like that it didn't feel like a greasy silicone product like past primers have felt. But unfortunately for me I just didn't see any noticeable improvement in my look. The primer had a green tint to it and felt lightweight. I immediately noticed that the primer neutralize the redness and my skin wad cool and hydrated. My foundation set amazingly and held up against our humidity we have here in Oklahoma. There was no caking in my fine lines or irritation to my skin. I used this primer as a base for my makeup in the morning and was impressed at how well it covered the red areas of my face. The texture was smooth and the primer held my foundation well. I felt like I could definitely use this as a standalone product on a day that I didn't want to use full coverage foundation.
