I used to use living proof prime style extender. Is this product still available if not what is comparable in the living proof line?
- Asked by Hair
- Official Answer By Living Proof - BEPrime Style Extender was discontinued, it does not have a direct replacement, but the closest product would be No Frizz Smooth Styling Cream. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
When layering 5 in 1 perfecting cream with the no frizz cream styler for curly hair, which do you apply to the hair first?
- Asked by Qtip
- Official Answer By Living Proof - BEThank you for your inquiry. Because the 5 in 1 provides light conditioning, you may want to use the No Frizz Smoothing Styler in place of the cream as a base prior to styling. If you enjoy the cream I would layer the cream over the 5 in 1. Being that the cream has conditioning as well and is designed to smooth and defrizz the hair, you may find the spray as a better option. Was this answer helpful to you

- Asked by Pety
- Official Answer By Living Proof - BEThanks so much for your inquiry. You can certainly use this styling product if you air dry your hair. You may find you gain more volume using heat and a round brush. But you will gain the smoothing and strengthing benefits either way.Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
Is this product a replacement for the t.b.d. multitasking that came in a black tube?
- Asked by LilRedC3
- Official Answer By Living Proof - BEThanks so much for your inquiry. PHD 5-1 is not a replacement for TBD, but has similar benefits. PHD 5-1 works best with heat to gain the volumizing benefits it offers. TBD can be used as a deconstructing product if you want to enhance texture and layers to your style. Both will help to smooth, and both are designed for blow drying. PHD has an ingredient to also enhance volume. Was this answer helpful to you

Love it!
I had a sample tube of this and have now bought a full size bottle. It makes my fine, frizzy hair soft and shiny. I even got a compliment the other day on how beautiful and shiny my hair was - that hasn't happened in a long time! It also cuts blow drying time, which I love. The only pseudo-negative ...

On the fence
Not sure yet, but I am pretty sure I spent almost $30 for a product that is at best ...okay. It does fill in my scraggly ends a bit, but so did my Pureology split end mender, I'll have to give the product more of a chance. It doesn't weigh my hair down, smells nice, but my hair is just as smooth,...

Not for me
I couldnt wait to try this LP Leave-In Conditioning Spray, but alas, it made my hair feel coated and weighed down. I experimented with the amount I used, but I just don't like the way it made my hair feel. It felt like it was coated in a waxy substance that was even worse after drying.

I don't understand all these positive reviews, this stuff did nothing for my fine curly hair. Yes, it made it easier to brush through but when it dried, my hair was like super frizzy and straw like. I've tried this on wet hair and I've tried it on dry hair and it did nothing. Not to mention it's a very expensive for only 4 ounces. There are other leave in conditioners that are better priced and a lot larger.
