Poor results
I will start off this review by saying I did overuse the product, and that led to some really bad results for me. But this 2 star review is based its poor performance BEFORE it wrecked my skin. Amazing Product
This product worked like magic for me. After a week of use every other day, I noticed significant improvement in my skin texture. Be sure to use sunscreen when using this product. Not sure if this is suitable for super sensitive skin, as I felt slight tingling around the more sensitive parts on my face. However, this is not a problem for me. A week in, and my skin is already much softer and smoother. 100% reccomend.
Saved My Skin
This is just what my skin needed. I struggle a ton with acne and after using this a few times a week, my skin has never been clearer. It also improved my skin texture as well (most likely due to the lack of acne and exfoliation). Like I'd see people online with smooth clear skin and I never thought I'd get there, but I did get a lot closer with this product. I do have to warn you though, I did purge with this product. My temples and jawline were horrendous the first week or so, but after that it has been smooth sailing. Even when I forget to use the product for a week or two, my skin never reacts like it did the first time trying it. But keep in mind this was my first ever experience with acids, so perhaps people with less babied skin will have a more tolerable time. Some people say it burns, but personally it's never done that for me unless I had an open breakout that I had picked out, in which I just wiped the product off in the area. I write this review today as I've been using the product for a few months and I went on a hiatus for a couple weeks with this product. I put it on last night on my very broken out, dull face from just stress and hormonal acne, and I've woken up to a clear, smooth, healthy face. Obviously different products work for everyone so the actives in this may not be one size fits all. It's definitely a bit more aggressive than other less complex acids. But if you're struggling with stubborn acne and skin texture and are prepared for a little purge (it wasn't that bad, just surprising as I never purged before), this product is worth a try.
Worked as needed
I had some dry patches of skin that would not go away with regular exfoliating and this cleared it up after a few uses.
Love
I use this serum 3 times a week before bed. I wash my face, use the serum, and then put on nightime moisturizer. I feel like it's definitely helped with the progress of my skin being more clear.
Would repurchase
my skin feels glowy and clean the morning after use. I use this once a week. an inexpensive investment as one bottle lasts a long time.
