It comes out as a powder, so you do have to work it in a little more, but once you massage it into your roots, it does a nice job soaking up oil and giving a little lift. The scent though? That's probably my favorite part—it's clean, fresh, not overpowering at all, which I really appreciate. Texture-wise, it is very much a powder, so I found using a light hand works best and brushing it through after makes a big difference.
