Hi! I've been using the "light" version of this product for several months now. I really like it and I love the smell. I'm almost out of it; and I was just wondering what the difference is between the two products. I have thick, wavy, color treated hair that is just above my mid back in length with long layers. I use this after flat ironing to give additional smoothness and shine. It also helps to maintain my straight style and prevent frizz. I was just wondering if the regular version might be an even better fit for my hair type. Also, do both products have the same scent? Thank you!
- Asked by Liz
- Official Answer By Wella Professionals - Sampling + BEThe luminous smoothing oil gives instant luminosity, without weighing the hair down. It contains camellia seed oil. Light Reflective oil is a versatile perfecting oil for hair smoothness and glossy effect. Good for all hair types. Contains macadamia and avocado oils. The scent may vary between the two due to ingredients. Was this answer helpful to you

It says on the label to add to dry hair for light reflection. I'm not seeing that. Am I doing it wrong maybe? I do like how it feels, haven't really noticed a smell, but my hair does look pretty awesome. Just wondering where that light reflection is?
- Asked by SuzyQ
- Official Answer By Wella Professionals - Sampling + BEAs an oil it is meant to give the hair shine. You may need to use more to get that shine with dry or damaged hair. However, do not overuse the product. Doing so may weigh your hair down or make it greasy. Was this answer helpful to you

What happens if you put this on your hair BEFORE curling it? I've been using it while my hair is damp, and then once my hair dries, curling it, and I've noticed dark pink streaks in my blonde hair. This is the only thing I can think of that might be causing it. I hate to only use it after curling, because it really makes my hair soft, so I'd like to be able to use it after washing my hair every time. Could this be causing the pink streaks?
- Asked by me
- Official Answer By Wella Professionals - Sampling + BEIt is not made to be used before curling, so it hasn't been tested in that way. I cannot confirm or deny that this could be the cause. Maybe try it with the iron on a cooler setting. If the heat is burning the product maybe that is causing the color. Was this answer helpful to you

pleasantly surprised!
Ok I won't lie, I bought this product because I read that Meghan Markle uses it..and let's be real her hair is shiny and perfect. I honestly thought I'd hate it thought because hair oils tend to be too much for my hair. My hair is thick and somewhat coarse due to coloring...however at the same time ...

Can't find the right amount to use yet
This product is tricky if you have thin, fine hair. I was trying to control the frizz from the Florida humidity. I read great reviews about this product before I had purchased it. However, if I use to little I cannot tell a difference, and if I use too much I have flat, greasy, lifeless hair. I'm s...

Perfect oil
Hair Type Straight Hair
It leaves your hair shiny without weighing it down, leaving it shiny and healthy! I recommend it.
Received super old product
When I received it the bottole wasn't full with old sticker residue. The most importantly the oil was cloudy. That made me suspect and i checked the batch code. It was 7 years old. Very sad that i wasn't even able to test the product.
Amazing hair oil
Hair Type Wavy Hair
This smells great, and makes my hair so soft!! I use two pumps wet, and one after drying. I absolutely love the results. I have wavy, frizzy and puffy hair. This makes it straight, silky and frizz free, the smell is a bonus!! It also doesn't make my hair oily, even when using on dry hair. (Side note, my hair gets super oily if I use too much of any other oils I've tried, EXCEPT this one) 😊

Lightweight and doesn't make my hair oily!
Hair Type Straight Hair
This oil really helped to control any flyways and the static in my hair that I get during these colder months! Sometimes I get dry ends and it looks a bit brittle and this left my hair so shiny and soft, all while not making it oily as other oils tend look so oily! Love this stuff!
