[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have combination hair type of 4a/3c. I have colored my hair a lot over this past few years. I intend to lighten my hair color again this fall. Currently my hair has been colored dark from the previous blonde ombré I had before. Prior t...o that I tried to strip a color from my hair and it was a fail and it caused some damage. So I appreciate that Pureology is for color treated damaged hair like mine. I have been wearing my hair natural for this past year. I wash and condition my hair a lot due to aquatic fitness and swimming activities throughout the week. So I really do require leave in hair products that help moisturize my natural curly hair when styling. I typically will do a wash and go or a ponytail. After washing and conditioning my hair I add about 3 dropper fills to my clean wet hair and finger comb as well brush through the product on my hair. I feel like this product does a fair job of moisturizing my hair and leaving it soft with a bit of a sheen look to it. It hasn't however improved or enhanced my curly hair texture. My hair is still frizzy in texture with some curl but not enhanced like I hoped. I like for a moisturizing product to help get rid of the frizzy texture to my hair and define my curls more. I feel like it is due to the ingredients. My hair responds better to some ingredients over other ingredients. The oil has a gentle mild scent to it that gives off a gentle floral scent. The oil relaxes my mood during and after applying it to my hair. I love that benefit because I am often stressed out when doing my hair and throughout my day. So I don't mind using this hair oil for this benefit alone.
