Excellent for thick, frizzy hair
I got this oil as part of an Olaplex kit with several other Olaplex products. I've used Numbers 0, 3, and 6 for a long time and love the results. My scalp tends to be greasy so I was a little netvous about using it, but I started putting a couple drops in on the lower half of my ends after straightening. So far, its been great at eliminating fly-aways, adding shine and softness, and calming frizz, in coordination with the ither Olaplex products. But I think it would also be useful on its own, if you're not already using other Olaplex products. I have not tried it prior to using heat tools (the fact that it's oil scares me because I don't want to literally fry my hair, but it claims to stand up against 450 F). Also, the smell is wonderful and light (not overwhelming).
Best hair oil out there if used correctly
I've tried just about every hair oil there is and this is the only one that doesn't leave my fine long hair greasy. The key is to only use a little, at most 2 drops, and use it on the ends only. I part my hair to put it in the front, then put the oil in my palms, then rub them together to heat the oil, then lightly rub it into the last 2 inches of my hair only covering the ends on both sides. I've used the entire Olaplex system, but stopped because using the entire system was too much only making my hair greasy. The No7 hair oil is the only item I use now along with Pureology Smooth shampoo and conditioner. If you have fine long color treated hair this is all you need along with 12 Benefits leave in treatment (only available in reputable salons) after showering. Using any more products will just weigh it down. I apply the No7 oil before styling and also on non wash days, just a drop then. These 4 products are all you need along with sleeping on a satin pillow, using a microfiber towel, and contrary to popular belief, blow drying your hair right after, not air drying. Blow drying seals the cuticles, air drying leaves them open. This routine made all the difference in keeping my hair long and healthy.

Hair Type Very Curly Hair
My hair texture has changed a lot and I can't use any oil that put weight on it. After trying this one I noticed that my hair isn't weighting down as others have done. Eventually I continue buying it and my hair gets to the point and very healthy.
