Application is key
May not be for everyone definately for a morning day mosturizor and go for more hydration for night routine.
least favorite ordinary product
Ive used quite a few products from the ordinary but this is one of my least favorite. I wanted an alternarive to their more heavy weight cream moisturizer that i use during the winter but this gel moisturizer did not work as well as i hoped. like other reviewers i felt it stung my face upon application and was very sticky after drying. i had to use another moisturizer on top of this one in order to avoid feeling dry and tight after usage.
Package isn't clear; icky feeling; doesn't absorb
The packaging isn't clear if you're purchasing in store. It does not say it is a GEL. It's pretty icky feeling applying and does not absorb as well as the original normal cream moisturizer. You can feel the sticky gel on your skin for a few hours after application.
What a difference
I'm older and wrinkles run in the family. I was using the regular cream and it was ok but decided to switch to gel just to try it out. I use less, it's absorbed quickly and WOW my face looks less wrinkled. Oh yes, this is great stuff!
Not bad, but interesting texture...
This moisturizer is very goopy, has a lube-like texture that surprised me. It's very liquid, kind of thick gel. Definitely for oily/combo skin, isn't hydrating enough for dry skin. It was fine.
