Most Helpful Positive Review Amazing! I have been looking to replace my Babybliss titanium flat iron, which while it got hot fast, it just made my curls go frizzy. I had heard that ceramic was better if you want a smooth look for thick hair, so I did some research and found this one. It is slightly heavier than the titanium, but the difference is negligible. I have thick straight hair that likes to poof when air dried and it's stubborn when it comes to holding curls. I tried this iron for both straightening and curling and it runs smoothly through the hair with no snagging. Compared to titanium iron, this one actually does give either style a smooth look - yay no frizz!
The price point on this thing doesn't diminish the quality you get! I was lucky to get this iron for around $50 after a discount. So happy to have this iron for under $100! And it is equivalent to a CHi or any other higher priced brand out there.
Most Helpful Critical Review Wouldn't recommend on curly hair I have 3B curly long hair unfortunately takes a about 3-4 passes to get a nice straight look. Decided to try a new brand after my Chi Lava flat iron needed to be replaced. This works great as a touch up tool or if you're hair isn't 3B or higher curl. Tried it out on my sister's wavy medium length hair worked beautifully. Would recommend on wavy hair types. If you have any high curl or deep wave hair types I would pass on this one.

First, it burned my 100% Remy Hair extensions on the second use. It snags my hair also. What I do like about this tool is that it leaves your hair soft and shiny. But overall not happy I will be returning it.
AWESOME!! 5

I USE TO STRAIGHTEN AND TO CURL MY HAIR AND IT WORKS VERY WELL WITH JUST ONE PASS THROUGH THE HAIR AND I CAN GET READY FOR WORK OR GOING OUT WITHOUT HAVING TO SPEND SO MUCH TIME ON MY HAIR ANYMORE
Best flat iron so far 5

I love the quality of this product., I've owned Chi, Gold'N'Hot, Revlon, Conair, flat irons you put directly on stove... The amenities this iron comes w/ should dictate a higher price. I use it on my human hair & my expensive human hair wigs. It never disappoints... EVER!
Love This Straightener! 5

I don't typically drop a lot of money on hair tools, but for some reason I impulsively did for this straightener. I have no regrets on that transaction! This straightener is super easy to use, heats up quickly, and makes my hair feel shiny and smooth after I use it! I highly recommend.
Not the best 2
Laur from CT
Not "butter smooth" like the other 2 Kristen ess straighteners. I found it kind of hard and uncomfortable for it to pass through my hair. Kind of upsetting! I bought it in the value set with the clip and the comb. Maybe it's a lower quality? Not sure.

Loved this straightener until it stopped turning on. I press and press the on button and it continues to stay off. Pretty annoying especially for the price.

NANOBLACK 2-In-One Flat Iron from Arizona
Decided to buy this on Black Friday since it was a good sale. I bought the set that comes with the clip and comb. This is so much better than my CHI straightener that I have been using for years! It kept my hair straighter than ever for 3+ days. Very impressed and glad I ditched my old straightener!
Just OK 3

I had a Chi straightener for almost 10 years and switched to this one. It's kind of heavy and thick which makes it hard to maneuver. My hair also always gets caught on the corners of the plates. It does an ok job straightening but I do usually have to make a couple passes and I have pretty fine hair, but a lot of it. It does heat up fast which is nice. For me, it wasn't worth the cost and I wish I would have held it in person before buying online.
Love it!! 5

I have very coarse curly hair and this flat iron was so smooth going through my hair. No snags and made the perfect curls. Love it!
Okay but not great 2

Bought this after my Paul Mitchell iron was chipped and on its last leg. Read good reviews. First iron the display was broken and I didn't know what temp it was at. Ulta was great at replacing, but the second one I realized I don't love it enough to keep it. It only has 4 heat settings which has been a problem. My preferred temp is 340 and 365 is way too hot and my hair is not handling it well. And the next lowest temp is in the 200s and too cool to work on my hair. Not sure why Kristin ess didn't make more options, disappointed for the price point.
Great for price! 5

It does the job, keeps my hair frizzy free and smooth. My hair has been staying straight longer as well. Definitely a great flat iron and especially for the price.

I was kind of hesitant trying out a new straightener. But I've been using it for a few weeks now, it doesn't pull my hair and one button controls the whole straightener! My hair is thick, long, and wavy!
Works fine on natural curly hair (3b-3c for reference) 5
Kiana from Washington DC
I've been flat ironing my hair for several years. I have natural curly hair. (Mix of 3b/3c type) I've used chi, and different flat iron brands. My favorite was corioliss until it broke and I saw this flat iron at ulta. It was under $100 which was my main reason of getting this. It works really well, doesn't burn my hair, there's a few heat settings on it already. After using this My hair is straight straight, not that puff/ poofy straight, I'm talking Dominican blow out straight after using this flat iron. Day 3 and I still look like I have that silky fresh out of the salon hair. If you want to make the most out of this flat iron make sure your hair prep is consistent. How you prep your hair first before flat ironing is how you get your best results.
Best straightener! 5

I bought the T3 straightener before this and hated it. This straightener does it all and it's effortless!! Kristin Ess has yet to disappoint me with a product yet!
I never leave product reviews but I HAD to tell the world how great this straightener is! If you're on the fence, just get it!
I LOVE! (Thick Long wavy hair) 5

So. I got this after returning another straightener (dry bar brush straightener) it just didn't do what I needed.
I decided to try this one out and it's. Fantastic. It's sleek and so nice to hold. The cord doesn't get wrapped around me when using.
It gets hot FAST and as long as you SECTION your hair this baby is amazing. My hair is smooth, feels so nice and doesn't feel damaged or anything. It really is amazing.
Shiny & sleek 5

Debated between this and a Babyliss. I'm glad I went with this one. I have fine hair and the fine hair setting on this left my hair so straight and shiny! I walked in a literal windstorm, and once I brushed my hair…it was still perfectly straight! I'm impressed.
So Glad I Purchased After Reading + Reviews! I LOVE IT!! 5

I never write reviews, but this KE 3-in-1 is AMAZING!!!! I had a GVP flat iron that caused damage to my hair. It was pure junk. You could never tell what heat level it was on and it pulled my hair. The rounded shape of this KE is so great for curling your hair. It goes smoothly through my hair and I love that it has auto shut off. It is perfect for my thick hair. I got mine with 20% off coupon and it would have been worth it to have paid full price! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
Started out great… 3

I've used Chi, ghd, Paul Mitchell irons in the past and had a hard time choosing a new iron after my Paul Mitchell one started frying my hair. I had high hopes after reading so many great reviews for this one. The first few uses were amazing. The iron heats up quickly, has multiple temp settings controlled by the power button which is inside so you don't accidentally hit it while styling. It also comes with a great silicon cover for storage. However, after the first week my hair started catching and snagging in the plates. It's possible it's a manufacturing defect, but I don't want to take a chance and exchange it. I'm really disappointed and I'll be returning this and going back to a Chi.

Only used this product once and returned. didn't love this straightner and felt like my hair didnt get as straight using this as i did with my chi or babyliss pro
Doesnt straighten hair 1
Sarah from Sacramento, CA
I have curly hair that goes halfway down my back but I always blow dry my hair before straightening it. I had to make several passes for the waves to straighten in my already blow dried hair and I had to use the highest heat setting which I've never done before. The automatic shut off at 30 minutes is ludicrous it should be at least 1 hour. Overall I don't recommend this straightener if you have wavy/curly hair (type 3b/3c).
Best Styling Tool ever 5

I have thing negative to say out this. It easy to use and works well on my thick, wavy hair.
