Is this a light weight travel curling iron? Does it come with a heat resistant cover?

Too long
The curling iron was just fine. It was the length of the barrel that had me sending it back. My error, did not see the description that said long barrel. I have pixie short hair so s no go for me.
Excellent Quality
This is incredible quality, gentle on hair. Extended barrel for long hair.
Don't buy it..
I was really hopeful for this tool because I have Long hair and a lot of it. The curl lasted about 2.5 seconds after taking it off of the barrel and yet left marks from the clasp, let alone my hair smelled burnt for two weeks even after 4/5 washings…. I have an old smaller ceramic curler that did a better job. Returned this as soon as i could.
Did not work from the moment I bought it
I bought this when Ulta was running a 20% off special. Got it in and plugged it in… NOTHING! Took it back and had to go to 2 different stores to get one that was in stock because otherwise they couldn't give me the amount I paid for it only for the second one to not work!!!! Very disappointed. Hot tools for the win!!!
