Great for textured hair
I have long coarse curly hair and this the first curling iron I have used that works great on my natural texture. Normally, I have to flat iron it straight then curl it. This goes from an air dried frizzy mess to perfect curls in one pass.
Wanted to love it, but no
The clamp is too tight, pulls and crimps hair. Also, even on the lowest setting, it gets extremely hot. All the way up to where your finger has to open the clamp I burned myself several times. Tried exchanging, but customer service was not great.
Poor Design and Difficult to Use
I wanted to love this curling iron, but unfortunately, I'm giving it 2 stars. The titanium wand is not smooth enough, which makes it harder for the hair to glide through easily. The color indicators could also be much better designed. The blue should indicate the bottom/handle portion, while the silver should be at the top to clearly indicate the hot part of the wand. The temperature/power button is also positioned right where your thumb naturally rests, making it very easy to accidentally change the temperature or turn the curling iron off while using it. Overall, I think the design could use some improvements to make it safer and easier to use.
Makes soft beautiful curls!
I have thin, frizzy long hair and this makes my hair look young and soft. It is very long and the first time i used it I had to get used to it, but it's worth it.
Amazing Product!!
this curling Iron is a God send! I can never get my curls to hold but this iron is amazing! This iron is definitely a professional grade iron, not for beginners. It gets hot very quickly and it gets HOT! If you smell the burning smell when using this iron, I recommend turning down the heat and using the Redkin 22 High hold Thermal spray. These two work really well together. And u have to wait until it is completely dry before Styling.

Is this a light weight travel curling iron? Does it come with a heat resistant cover?
