I used to always use a pencil liner but now that I have been using Mystikol Powdered Eyeliner I will never go back. First it goes on smoothly with no tugging or pulling on the lid. Second, with my oily skin I always had problems with eyeliner staying put and not bleeding or smearing. I no longer have this problem with Mystikal. Eyeliner stays put until I remove it. It lasts all day and then some. You can put it on in the morning and go into the late night without having to reapply.
Smears Like Crazy

I bought these in both black and brown and both smeared like crazy. They went on very nicely and looked great for about an hour but by the end of the workday I looked like a racoon. I would definitely not recommend this product.
Total disappointment

I was really disappointed with the Mystikol Eye Liner from Jane Iredale. The black compact is extremely dry — the product barely transfers onto the included brush, even after trying different brushes. The applicator brush that comes with it is also very stiff and feels rough against the delicate eyelid area, making application uncomfortable. I tried scratching the surface of the compact thinking maybe only the top layer had dried out, but the product underneath was just as hard and unusable. Even after multiple attempts, the only color payoff I could get was a very faint, washed-out black/gray tint with almost no pigment transfer onto the brush. For the price, I expected a smooth, creamy formula with good pigmentation, but this product feels dried out, difficult to apply, and not at all eye-friendly. After several failed attempts to make it work, I ended up throwing it away because it was simply unusable. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product.
