beautiful eyes

I'm a guy and a makeup artist and I bough this for my own personal use .in the past five always been used to using pencil and liquid eyeliners on myself and clients .cream eyeliner has always seemed foreign to me since my grandmother applied her cream eyeliner with a brush in the 1960's it just seem...ed so old school lol. I used it with the brush and I love it it applies easily and you seem to have more Control drawing a line than with a pencil . you can control how much product you want to use giving you a thin line or a thick line .and you can easily wing it out to create a cat eye at an angle if you want to .it does set fast so if you want to softly smudge it to smoke it out a bit with the brush or a seprage flat eyeliner brush then you have to work fast .I have green eyes so I bought it in the amethyst purple shade .its a semi matte deep purple hue with a slight sheen but no mica so its not shimmering more on the matte side but it does give the illusion of a liquid liner look. As far as wear it does wear all day however I live in the humid south so it did transfer and smudge just a tad so if reccomend wearing it with a primer underneath just to be safe . if I had any few negatives its only 2. The description is a bit wrong it is not a powdered eyeliner its a semi matte cream eyeliner, the second one is you can't layer a different eyeliner o er it . I tried lining a shimmery neon purple eyeliner over it after it set just to give my eyes a cool ombre effect but it didn't work .the JI eyeliner stood its ground and the neon purple eyeliner did not show up well its pigment was completely diffused. But by itself it is a gorgeous eyeliner and if reccomend it to my clients or anyone looking for a long wearing eyeliner that wants to get out of their pencil rut .
