Clinique Moisture Surge Sheertint Hydrator Broad Spectrum SPF 25 Tinted Moisturizer is ophthalmologist tested and can be used around the eye area up to the orbital bone. However, it should not be used on the direct eye area or eyelid. Which color matches Universal Light? I am 64 and have light olive skin color, Asian and Caucasian mix. This color works well for me. Thank you.

I wear this as a foundation, be it day or nights. Reasons I love it: 1. It indeed is sheer, and more evens out your skin tone than covers any flaws. If that's what you want, then keep looking. 2. Goes on smooth w my fingertips. I prep with my usual skincare product under, let dry then apply. 3. It is dewey but not oily. 4. Still stays dewy if I lightly dust w a light loose powder, which is only at night. I am 58 but have minimal wrinkles, slight bits of pigmentation, tend to be dry (age), and smooth skin. I use the light medium. I WILL ADD: I accidently bout the light once, thought I'd give it a go. The texture was very different, more sunscreen-ish, less dewy, and all around thumbs down. Maybe some of the bad reviews here are from that tint?

I need daily sun protection, and so many sunscreens leave a white or lavender cast. This one does not leave any white cast, but it does have more color pigment than expected from a 'tint.' I would say it is a light to medium coverage foundation with sunscreen. I use in sparingly in the center of the face and blend outward; but using so little makes me wonder if I am really getting good sun protection. Also, the best finish is achieved using the fingers to blend, which I do not like, but a quality brush left me a bit streaky and a sponge soaks up too much product. I will use it, but not sure I am so happy that I would repurchase.
Wonderful Coverage
Perfect lightweight tinted moisturizer with sunscreen. I am pleased with this -- very lightweight -- easy to wear, doesn't feel heavy. Lightly tinted for some coverage (not full) appreciate the added sunscreen. You can always trust Clinique.
