Clinique Moisture Surge Sheertint Hydrator Broad Spectrum SPF 25 Tinted Moisturizer is ophthalmologist tested and can be used around the eye area up to the orbital bone. However, it should not be used on the direct eye area or eyelid. Which color matches Universal Light? I am 64 and have light olive skin color, Asian and Caucasian mix. This color works well for me. Thank you.

Patchy to the limit
I've tried so many ways to make this less patchy, ensuring proper application and only mixing with water-based skin and cream makeup products. However, this just doesn't work for me and gets immediately patchy. For reference, I have combination skin.

I've tried a million different tinted moisturizers that didn't cover enough or the color was really off and I've tried to do the SPF under a foundation. I don't wear a lot of make-up but as my skin has aged It just looks way better with a bit of color. Although I do find this to be thicker than a tinted moisturizer, the coverage is fantastic and actually works as a sunscreen. The color is beautiful and lasts all day. I have used a setting spray that was helpful when it's 90 degrees out.
Not a good shade match
I fell in between light and light medium. Light was too light and light medium made my cool skin tone look yellow. Ive had this problem with Clinique shades in the past. The moisturizer also tends to roll off my skin. Found another brand.
Don't waste your money!
I really wanted to like this. I tested it with multiple different moisturizers, layering it, not layering it, primer, no primer….it does not stay on the skin. It pills up and flakes off. If I can manager to get it to stop pilling up it transfers or fades into non existence. Hate it for the price. Much better options available for better price

I used Balanced and Superbalanced for over 35 years. My whole adult life. Nothing could compare. After turning 50 I wanted something lighter so I tried a drugstore brand. I thought it was working okay until I started wearing my glasses in the lighted bathroom at work. It looked so chalky. So I finally bought this and my skin looks amazingly better.! Love it!!
