This product works!
I purchased the moisture rich shampoo and conditioner in addition to the ultra hydrating leave-in cream inside of my local Ulta. I was concerned about using the product after reading the poor reviews, so I decided to do a trial run with this product for one week (7days). The first five days using my diffuser and the last two days allowing my hair to dry naturally. Not sure if they changed the formula since these poor reviews were written. I didn't experience hair loss any more than the typical amount I normally lose. Especially considering the fact that I only combed my hair in the shower and I did not brush out my hair nor straighten or use a curling iron all seven days. I left it my natural texture. Scrunching my hair keeping my curls in a microfiber towel while wet to preserve the curl. Additionally I suffer from eczema, so I was concerned when I read reviews saying it made their scalp itchy. My scalp experienced no significant dryness. Nor did I experience the itching mentioned in the reviews. The shampoo bottle states it has no drying alcohols, not that it has zero alcohol in it. The first five days there was some frizz when I used my diffuser. However, I have always had that problem before. Once I allowed my hair to dry naturally after using this product my hair was even prettier than the days prior. It even rained the final day of my experiment. I received many compliments on my curls. I understand this product may not work for everyone, but it worked great for me. Overall, I would say I liked the product.
Hair is so sad
I started out really loving Kristin Ess products, especially the price point as a wavy haired girl with sooo many products. After about 6 months of using the moisture rich curl shampoo and conditioner, my hair is so dry, ends are crunchy, scalp itches, and it just feels incredibly sad. I thought it was maybe just winter and started using some intense moisturizing hair masks which made my wash days with these products the obvious problem :(

Smells divine, but itchy scalp and hair loss

I wanted this to work because it smells so lux but my scalp gets itchy to the point where it started getting crusty and then I started losing hair. I will continue to use the products in this line that don't touch my scalp but can no longer use the shampoo or conditioner.
