LEISURE ENHANCING/ SUN PROTECTING

I have loved vacations products for a long time now and within the past year switched to the mineral sunscreen, staying away from chemical based lotions. I LOVE this mineral sunscreen! Recently was in Hawaii where the UV was 11, and this stuff protected me and I arrived home with ZERO sun burns and ...

I thought id give this sunscreen a try since it was on sale and i saw pretty good reviews about it. I saw some people mention the smell but i decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and just try it. Finally an everyday sunscreen

It's hard to find a sunscreen that is completely mineral and doesn't make you smell like the beach, so I was excited to try this. I really like the way it applies without a greasy feel or bad smell. I use it daily when leaving the house. I love it!

Deceptive

When I recieved my bottle I noticed butylocytl salicylate is listed as the third ingredient. For some reason Ulta does not have this ingredient listed on the website. It is a chemical filter - which means this product is being falsely marketed as a mineral sunscreen, when it is in fact not. Very deceptive.

I would prefer a mineral sunscreen and had high hopes for Vacation's BUT…it still left a white cast. Womp-womp. However, the texture was smooth and even slightly matte and would make a great primer, so I would recommend it to all my white friends but I would not recommend to any of friends with melanin!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Hello Sunburn

I got this sunscreen because it has less chemicals than other sunscreens being mineral based. I went to the beach for 2.5 hours and applied 3 seperate times. The sunburn I have is unreal!! I'm born and raised in Florida, and a sunscreen has never dissapoitned me more than this one. It's a very thick consistency so it's hard to rub in fully. I didn't mind because I thought I'd be more protected from the sun. Not the case. It feels as if I didnt use any sunscreen at all.

check your expiration date

Went through a whole tube, and then repurchased with order date June 18 2024. it's now July 2025. I happened to check my expiration date on the tube, out of curiosity today, and it expired April 2025. Not sure how long this was sitting in a distribution center, but sunscreens are supposed to have expiry date of 3 years from manufacture. I probably only used half the product. I'm going to have to throw it out. Disappointing
