Just Washed Feeling!

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. Kristin Ess is hands down my favorite hair care brand! They make such high quality products for an affordable price. I tried the Kristin Ess Mineral Detox Dry Shampoo and have been loving it! I applied the dry shampoo to the roots of my few day old hair, and then finished getting ready to let the charcoal powder activate fully to absorb oil and odors. I was pleased when I brushed through my hair and it felt fully refreshed, looked clean, and smelled great! This dry shampoo definitely does the trick to make my hairstyle last a few extra days. The scent is clean and refreshing. I didn't notice any residue or powder lingering. I really like using this and appreciate how effective it was at refreshing my hair.
ALMOST perfect but leaves white flakes in hair

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This product was almost PERFECT for me. I loved the packaging, the clean look of it. It smells absolutely amazing, which is crazy because I did not expect any dry shampoo to ever smell this good but I love it. It makes your hair feel and smell refreshed. It doesn't look too chalky or powerdery when you apply it so that's good to blend out into your hair. However, the one downfall that I'm so sad about is that it leaves flakes in your hair. I've never had any other dry shampoo do that and it's so annoying. My hubby is the one that pointed it out and was like "you have dandruff". I've never had that problem unless I purposely go in and exfoliate my scalp but I guess this spray leaves little flakes in your hair and it looks like dandruff. You can shake them out but I gave this a 4 star for that reason. I almost guaranteed replaced my dry shampoo for this one if it wasn't for that one thing. For reference, I have thick long middle eastern hair that has a balayage.

Many of the dry shampoos I have used in the past made my hair feel strange and left a residue but this one doesn't.
