Hero Cosmetics Mighty Shield Invisible Blemish Protectant

I really like this for protecting active breakouts during the day. It goes on completely invisible and feels super lightweight, so I can wear it alone or under makeup without any issues. It helps keep me from touching my pimples and makes them look calmer while they heal. Definitely a great alternative to patches when I need something discreet. I like how this cream to patch product seem to worn well to protect / shield blemishes, particularly under makeup. You just apply in the area that needs protection - spreading it like a cream - wait a couple of minutes for it to dry, and then apply makeup on top of it. For removal, you can remove like a patch. Works great and gets perfectly hidden. And the liquid to patch format means it can be of any size or shape. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own.

The new Mighty Shield, by Hero Cosmetics, is a gel to cover blemishes. At first I thought it was sort of make your own hydrocolloid patch, which would have been so cool, but I was mistaken. Instead it is a liquid blemish shield that protects pimples under makeup to protect them from dirt and bacteria. I apply to clean, dry skin. It is sort of a thin clear gel that dries down after a minute or two. It can be used under makeup. My foundation doesn't want to stick to it well enough to cover it though and so I can still see it on my skin during the day. I also find it can be a bit tricky to use without peeling the product's edges. I can wear it all day and then peel it off, kind of like peeling glue off your fingers as a kid. It works ok, but if I touch my face at all the edges can begin to peel off. This is quite a unique product. It does not suck out the gunk like hydrocolloid patches do, but just protects the skin underneath. I received a free product in exchange for my honest review.

This is a really innovative product. The thing I find most useful about it is the fact that I can control the size of the area I cover according to my needs. This gel spreads super easy and dries quite fast. It does have a very strong smell due to its polyurethane base. That does dissipate once the product is dried, which occurs quickly. It quickly makes a thin projective cover wherever I need and stays until i remove it in the morning. This film does removed very easily. I would recommend this product to my family, friends, or anyone.
