Shake well before use. Dispense up to 5 pumps into your palm, depending on hair length, density, and texture.
Rub hands together and distribute product evenly throughout clean wet hair, starting at the mid lengths and working through the ends. Do not rinse. Finish with blow dryer, diffuser, flat iron, and/or curler. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately and thoroughly.

did nothing for my hair
so other than the fishy smell it has. this product did absolutely nothing for my hair. I started to frizzed up almost immediately after going out but the end of a 4hr outting at an INDOOR event my hair was so frizzy I had to put it up. ive had better results from cheaper products and it didnt smell awful
Saved my hair from summer in Texas
I arrived in Texas at the height of extreme summer humidity and in less than 24 hours the entire front of my hair was a hideous mess of frizz. So I re-washed and re-ironed with my normal heat protecting silk serum which has always done great for my hair in my high desert home. But after the slightest exposure to humidity and sweating around the hairline, it happened again. I was so embarassed, because I hate looking unkempt. I immediately started researching products on Ulta and thought the Matrix Mega Sleek looked promising. When it arrived, I washed my hair as usual and put this new serum on my damp hair. Note that the bottle must be shaken before using, and it has a thin consistency which is nothing like a slippery silk serum. It also has a vaguely chemical smell which was off-putting at first, but after drying it is not noticeable in the hair. My hair immediately looked and felt great after blow drying and brushing straight and the flat iron finishing was minimal and didn't take long, although I have very thick hair. Most importantly, it really worked. I only wash my hair once a week and don't touch up with the iron without washing. My hair looked great for the entire week. For the first three days the front remained perfectly straight; after that there was some minimal waviness around only the right side of my hairline but that is the side I sleep on and I was not covering it at night as I should. If I had worn a satin hair cover overnight I think it would have stayed perfect the entire week. And even then, it was nowhere near the embarassing thick frizz I had before using this. The Matrix Mega Sleek will definitely be coming with me to Texas from now on. It is still a torment to endure the humidity, but what a relief to not have to worry about my hair looking bad!

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I've been using this on my daughter's curly hair and it's been working such wonders. It leaves a lovely shine without a terrible residue, and it's been a game changer this summer! You can kind of see the shine in this photo. It really seems to be helping with the frizz. I think a little goes a long way so it's a great value! The texture of the product is very soft it feels like a very subtle light oil.
Good product but smells like low tide.
This is a hard one! I like the product. Its lightweight, doesnt weigh my hair down but it smells like fish. I thought it was just me but I see many reviews claiming the same. I would be more apt to purchase again if it smelled better!
it DOES smell like fish
It works really well and smelled really good (at first). After a couple of weeks of using it, it got a very bad fishy odor and I had to throw it away.
