Not what I was expecting
I bought this under the impression that it was just a maracuja juicy shift. Nowhere on the box or the images above that I see the word plump. However, on the back of the item it does say maracuja juicy lip plump shift. The plump is a deal breaker for me as I don't like the stinging on my lips. Howev...

Surprisingly Good
First thing is i think they are unreasonable with the price point. It's a lot for a lip gloss. Unless I get it on sale, I am not repurchasing. The good news is that despite the color in the tube which mine was blue- the resulting color on your lips is complementary to any skin tone. It's great for those events that I don't wanna go all out bold Matte Red color, on more casual events. I can just slap this on and know that I don't need lip liner and I don't have to worry about double checking my teeth for lipstick color. It's a great grab and go for casual occasions. It gives you just the right amount of color so that you don't look pale.. that's what I appreciate the most. I love the way it feels on my lips. It's soft without being sticky. It's not thick or gooey. It does truly moisturize your lips and give you a hint of a pop-up color. It does need to be reapplied often to maintain that look. I don't hate the fact that you have to push a button at the bottom of the tube every single time you go to apply it, but in the future, I hope they skip the button. Maybe that will help bring the price of manufacturing it down a little. I much rather have a twist tube. Its elegant and all but unnecessary IMO. Bottom line is it's a fantastic product. Do I recommend it yes. Do I think it's overpriced yes I happen to catch it on the Black Friday sale and was able to buy 5 of them for the price it would cost me to buy just two of them today! If u can use a coupon &/or catch them on sale its a fun product!
Absolutely in love with this Color and Feel…
Tarte has done it again… and this is great for girls that don't want any of the tingling from any of the other Tarte products that have the plumping affect…and the color is beautiful for my lips and skin plus it glides like butter on them lol
Will buy again, and again, and again
I'm usually indifferent to lipgloss because I buy it for the color and rely on a separate balm/mask for hydration..but I love the color, formula, minty tingle, and click applicator! The shades grape and blueberry are my favorite for any occasion which is why it's always in my purse.
