great product! i received this product for free in exchange for a review and it's worked well for me so far! it keeps everything in place for hours, but to be fair, the weather in Michigan right now is not hotter than 60 degrees, so I would definitely need to test this in hotter climates before saying definitively that it can stay on through anything :)

I finally tried the Sacheu Locking Spray after seeing so many people compare it to high-end setting sprays, and I get the hype now. The first thing I noticed was how fine the mist is — it doesn't leave random wet spots or make my makeup look patchy. Once everything dried down, my makeup seriously looked locked in without feeling tight or crunchy. I have combo skin, and usually my makeup starts separating around my nose and chin after a few hours, but this kept everything looking smooth way longer than I expected. It also gave my skin that slightly blurred, natural finish instead of making me look overly matte or greasy. I've seen other people say it helps makeup survive long days and humidity, and honestly I agree. One thing I really liked is that it layered well with cream products and didn't break apart my base. My makeup still looked fresh by the end of the day, even after being outside for hours. If you like makeup that stays put but still looks skin-like, I can definitely see why so many people are obsessed with this spray.

I've used MANY different setting sprays so it was refreshing to see a setting spray that left my face just looking so natural without feeling so heavy. It went on light, and it didn't take long at all for it to set. I love that there's no alcohol in it. I also love the packaging!! It's a spray I can see being used throughout the day if you just need a quick refresh.

Lockstep is a really nice hydrating setting spray that i have been testing when I have a full face of makeup for an event! It does not make me look oily or matte, but has a nice glowy finish. I like that there's no alcohol which all other sprays I've used before use which is drying for my face, and there is an added bonus if niacinamide which my skin loves. It has a really nice even spray on my face that is refreshing. I think the only con, is that I don't think it keeps my face makeup on all day, but it definitely last for half of the day. It works really nicely as a makeup refresh for sure though.
