BEFORE LIPSTICK:
To naturally define lips, start by outlining the Cupid's bow. Then, switch to the outer corners of upper lips and draw inward until you connect the lines at the centre.
To enhance your lips and create a fuller-looking effect, trace along your upper lip line while gradually overlining beyond the natural border of your lips.
To create a contoured lip look, choose a shade deeper than your Lipstick to outline lips. Then, fill in the centre of lips with the lighter Lipstick, slightly overlapping with your liner. Blend with a 316S Brush to create a natural-looking gradient.
AFTER LIPSTICK:
To add extra definition, line lips after applying your Lipstick.
WITH LIPGLASS
Outline or fill in lips completely, then layer on Lipglass for a high-shine look.
LINER ONLY:
Shade and fill in lips.

What lip liner would pair well with Mac lip gloss Beaux?
- Asked by Jesse
- Official Answer By MACSpice is a warm, rusty‑brown with good pigment that adds nice warmth without being too dark. Another option is Cork. This is a muted golden brown, a more neutral warm tone that complements glosses nicely. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

MAC previously had a lip pencil called Spike which was discontinued. What pencil is now the closest to this?
- Asked by L. Jones
- Official Answer By MACWe want to help! We do have Spice in Lip Pencil, and while we had a Spiked Eye Brow Styler Pencil, a great alternative would be Stud Eye Pro Brow Definer for that same defined look. Was this answer helpful to you
- Q
What color in Lip Pencil would best work with the lipstick shade Ring The Alarm? Thank you!😊
- Asked by cherrypie

Need a good sharpener for Mac. Non of std ones work

Stone is back?!?!?! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
I came on the site today to reorder a lipstick that had run low, and decided to check my "Favorites" list to see if there was anything there that I needed. And lo and behold an old friend reappeared - Stone lip pencil. I thought I must be seeing things. But no, it's there. And it's not marked as a l...

PRODUCT HAS CHANGED
I've been buying the MAC lip pencil in Stripdown for over ten years. It's the only product I use to line and fill in my lips. The color closely matches my natural lip color and every pencil I've purchased through the years has never varied in color or consistency, its always been exactly the same. I...

This is great if you want the optical illusion of having bigger lips. It reflects the light in a very unique way. I have one for my purse one for my makeup stand. Very good if you're wanting it natural lip. I have light pink lips not NW5.

Stone and greige are some of the most unique colors. Great '90s colors. Very hard to do duped. And Mac has some of the best pencils! I have pencils from the '90s and they're still fantastic. Less expensive brands crumble and go bad but my Mac pencils are still going almost 30 years later.

This was my first lip pencil ever and I bought film noir with it. I bought it 20 years ago. And my lip pencil from 20 years ago is still amazing.! I know you're not supposed to use old cosmetics but it is still creamy and works just like I bought it yesterday. I had to pull it out after the whole Wednesday fandom!

I thought this might be too dark for my NW5 skin but surprisingly it worked. I paired it with antique velvet. I like vampy gothy looks. But I can wear it by itself which I think I be able to unless I wore dark lipstick.

This is The lip pencil Dakota Johnson wore in that new movie where it shows her putting the Mac pencil on in the mirror. I thought it was going to be too dark for my NW5 skin but is the perfect my lips but better. It makes my lips look naturally bigger without lift filler. One of my favorite pencils of all time I'm glad I just bit the bullet and bought it
