It says it's fragrance free, but I found the natural fragrance of the floral extracts to be overwhelming. Yes, it's gentle. It's worse than baby shampoo. Not made for adult hair. Too much product is needed to get hair clean - I was every 2-3 days. Even second shampoo needs several pumps to do the trick. Will not purchase again.
