I was reading the reviews on this because I have a l'ange straightener but it's not the digital one, I love it but the plates are damaged which is in turn causing breakage to my hair (just from how long I've had it and regular ware and tear) but I read a lot that this straightener will just stop working without warning, what would be the cause of that and could it be prevented?

Is there an option to lock the temperature setting while using the flat iron to avoid accidentally hitting any buttons? I constantly turn down the heat on my Le Duo without realizing and its so frustrating.

I love all of their hair products! I have their hair straightener, blow dryer & crimper. Just upgraded my hair straighter after years of use. I have tried many other brands that cost even more & they don't even compare! I also love their hair care products! I've bought also all of them & there isn't one I haven't liked! I bought one for my daughter for Christmas last year. I loved it so I had to buy myself one. It heats up fast and does a great job straightening my course hair.
I would not buy it again.
Hair Type Wavy Hair
I prefer my iron to stay on and retain its temperature setting. It's inconvenient to have to turn it on and reset the temperature every time I plug it in.
