Plug the tool into an outlet and turn ON
Select desired temperature using the +/- button

Hair should be detangled and completely dry
Apply the heat protectant of your choice
Insert a 1" - 2" strand of hair between the plates
Starting near your roots, gently press down
Slide the flat iron from root to tip at a moderate pace

I was reading the reviews on this because I have a l'ange straightener but it's not the digital one, I love it but the plates are damaged which is in turn causing breakage to my hair (just from how long I've had it and regular ware and tear) but I read a lot that this straightener will just stop working without warning, what would be the cause of that and could it be prevented?

Is there an option to lock the temperature setting while using the flat iron to avoid accidentally hitting any buttons? I constantly turn down the heat on my Le Duo without realizing and its so frustrating.

Worked great until it didn't
Had this brand that was digital one for about 3-4 years and used daily. All of sudden the cord got loose and moved around where it connects to the iron. This would make it shut off and I would have to restart it. I was able to hold cord in place against the iron and keep it on and keep using. Did that for about 2-3 weeks. One day it popped real loud a couple of times and sparks flew out of it. Scared me and luckily got unplugged and threw in trash.

I love all of their hair products! I have their hair straightener, blow dryer & crimper. Just upgraded my hair straighter after years of use. I have tried many other brands that cost even more & they don't even compare! I also love their hair care products! I've bought also all of them & there isn't one I haven't liked!
