I have 3c-4a high density, low porosity, thin stranded hair, which ive been trying to grow, and honestly I saw the hype of this product everywhere so I gave it a shot. the pros are that it smells pretty good to me, my breakage did become a bit better, but it wasn't a huge significant effect. the cons are that my hair felt like straw after using it for a couple consecutive washes due to the protein in both these products, I had to resort to clarifying my hair after almost everytime I used this product which dried my hair out and it still felt like straw.. I tried just using it plain as is shampoo conditioner then leave in and still my hair felt like straw.. this product is not for low porosity hair types, it stopped a bit of my breakage but I can't say that it grew my hair.

The second i got my hands on this shampoo i fell in love and used it constantly and actually saw results. A year into using this i started getting comments from my family members telling me my hair looked thinner. I thought nothing about it. Months later it started getting really bad to the point where id loose so so much hair in shower and outside. I couldnt figure out what it was until it finally clicked in my brain that i saw someone else leave a reciew saying it made their hair fall out. I stopped using this for about a month now. It grows your hair BUT COMES WITH THE COST OF LOSING IT ALL. DO NOT BUY LADIES PLS. I do not want anyone else to go through what i went through. I used to have so much hair to the point where i literally wanted it gone…now i miss having it all and have to restart my hair journey. Im literally only 22 and have gone through so much hair loss. I genuinely dont want this to happen to someone else.

I was actually sent this by mistake in my shipment, but I was able to keep it, thankfully! I fell in love this shampoo. I'm surprised it's rated so low. It has that great salon smell, and it makes my hair so soft and clean (and it's hard to find a shampoo that does both!). I had previously been using more "clean ingredient" brands, which I found very drying. This brought my hair back to life.
