Plug the tool into an outlet and turn ON
Select desired temperature using the +/- button

Hair should be detangled and completely dry
Apply the heat protectant of your choice
Insert a 1" - 2" strand of hair between the plates
Starting near your roots, gently press down
Slide the flat iron from root to tip at a moderate pace

I was reading the reviews on this because I have a l'ange straightener but it's not the digital one, I love it but the plates are damaged which is in turn causing breakage to my hair (just from how long I've had it and regular ware and tear) but I read a lot that this straightener will just stop working without warning, what would be the cause of that and could it be prevented?

Is there an option to lock the temperature setting while using the flat iron to avoid accidentally hitting any buttons? I constantly turn down the heat on my Le Duo without realizing and its so frustrating.

Great for heating up QUICKLY and making adjustments in temp but probably had the straightener for maybe 3 yrs tops and out of nowhere just died.

I got this for Christmas in December 2023 and it worked good unitl it didnt. It wont staty on anymore. I would not recommend
I did like it…
…when it worked. I've had this flat iron for a little over a year, and I didn't use it often. Yesterday I went to turn it on and it would say "on" for about 1 second and then go off. Did everything I could think of, nothing. Same today. Garbage.

I absolutely love the Luxe straightener. I just wish that it was more of a blush color versus a pink. I have all of their tools and I guess over the years they have changed the color and made it more pink because my new straightener doesn't match the rest of the tools that I have purchased in the past that are more of a lighter blush color. Other than that it's a great straightener.

When I found myself in need of a new flat iron, I purchased this one based on the reviews. I quickly discovered how bad my other flat iron was! This iron heats quickly. The buttons are in a good place, and I don't find myself unknowingly changing the temperature, or worse, turning the thing off! I am looking forward to many years of use.
