Left out harmful ingredients on ingredients list
Long story alert: I was eager to try this product because I had been looking for something to help me hydrate my skin at night and I needed a new HA so I figured I would try some Korean skin care I had been hearing about. I am a huge fan of the app Yuka because it allows you to scan items and it pulls up a list of ingredients in said product and describes how harmful or not each ingredient is, with cited sources and studies to back it up. The issue is sometimes you will scan an item and it will not have all the ingredients....this particular item was rated very well on there, 93/100, so I was stoked to try it and bought it right away. Since almost all the other products from this brand had one particular harmful ingredient that ranked the them poorly, I was glad at least a few were ranked well. I double checked the ingredients list on Ulta's website and it lines up with what Yuka had. Upon receiving the product, I come to find on the box itself, it has exactly the harmful ingredient I was trying to avoid that was in all the other products...I will be returning this product and I urge Ulta to ensure they get the ingredients right on their website so their customers know what they are actually putting on their skin instead of misleading them into thinking they are safe by omitting ingredients that could show as harmful. Also I urge the customers to ALWAYS double check the ingredients on your products and don't just believe what is shown on the website. Clearly even Yuka ranked it high because this is what is provided on the website. I will be adding this ingredient to their list so they can adjust their rating as well. This particular ingredient is PHENOXYETHANOL, a hormone disruptor, potential allergen, pollutant and irritant.
Amazing Serum!
These products are all truly amazing! My skin feels hydrated and so smooth. I have been using a variety of these cosmetics for a week now and I can already see and feel the difference. I am a young 39 and thanks to these products I'm looking even younger. I have used medical grade skin care for years and I dont think I will ever be able to use anything else but Seoul Cosmetics now. 10/10!!!
