Healed Severe Cracking due to pregnancy
Pregnancy gave me super dry horrible lips and super stubbern to heal. no amount of hydration helped. Tried EVERY lip mask out there. Only one to truly help was this! With only one application overnight my lips were healing. I hope they never get rid of their new limited edition one its a beautiful shade worth every penny!
The best lip mask!
This product is a lip "mask". And it is a perfect one in my opinion. The best way I use this is to slather on a layer before bed. I wake up in the morning and have to wipe it off because its still there. And my lips are so hydrated soft and plump. It works so well. Yes you can wear this during the day, but if you choose to do so you need to just do the lightest layer. Its a beautful natural looking glossy balm that way, and continues to keep lips hydrated all day. I personally prefer it for a sleeping lip mask. Thats where it truly works its magic. So to recap, If you choose to wear it for daytime: do a very light layer For sleeping: do a thick layer and wipe off the excess in the morning. If you are a wild sleeper that rolls all over the place and wakes up with your face smushed in your pillow maybe this is not the lip mask for you.
I would buy this product again and again.
Really love this product! I have very dry lips and this keeps my lips moisturized for several hours without having to reapply. The Japanese Maple Leaves color is beautiful.
Hydrating
I have mixed feelings about this product. It's moisturizing, however, when I apply, it's messy, perhaps due to the color. I won't be purchasing it again.
Meh. More "experience" than effective.
I got the Japanese Maple one. I missed out on the persimmon one last year and didn't care about the basic pink one. And that sums up the product. For the price, I thought it would do something for dryness- it doesn't. The applicator is cumbersome and unhygienic. The product does feel really nice, no overwhelming fragrance or flavor (which I like,) very cute packaging. It just doesn't do anything. Vaseline is more effective (truly, a lot of lip and skin products use petrolatum- same stuff and works.) Lanolips is also really good. Summer Fridays, too. -1 star not effective, -1 star cumbersome/unhygienic, -1 price. +1 packaging, +1 feel/comfort/color.
