How is this different from the chi keratin leave in strengthening treatment spray? Confused as to which one would be best for my very dry damaged hair from having to wash everyday due to my job plus i live in florida where the water is hard and humidity makes my hair frizz and curl back up after blowdrying straight.

- Verified Reply - Staff ExpertCHI Keratin Leave-In Reconstructing Treatment contains Jojoba and Argan Oils. I would recommend this product for hair that may be chemically damaged and in need of intense hydration to restore strength and shine. The CHI Keratin Mist contains cashmere keratin, silk and extracts of chamomile, lavender and rosemary. This product is great to protect and repair the hair from styling damage, but does not contain enough keratin to reconstruct heavily damaged hair. In addition to using any kind of keratin or protein-reconstructor, it is very important to keep the hair properly hydrated and moisturized to prevent overproteinization of the hair. Overproteinization is what happens when the hair gets too much protein and not enough moisture. This sometimes results in the hair becoming brittle and prone to breakage because there isn't enough moisture in the hair to promote elasticity. Although, we formulate our keratin products to moisturize and prevent overproteinization, it is always a good idea to use a deeply hydrating masque or conditioning treatment at least once a week in conjunction with a keratin treatment. My recommendation would be the Argan Oil Masque or the Biosilk Hydrating Therapy Deep Moisture Masque.Was this answer helpful to you

This product needs to be infused with a blow dryer prior to using a flat iron. Before blow drying, apply a small amount to damp hair and work through evenly. Good product but overpowering scent
This product works well but has an overpowering floral fragrance. Leaves hair soft and manageable, Just can't get last the heavy fragrance. It doesn't smell cheap to me, but like a very strong designer fragrance. It definitely interferes with my own fragrances.
