Hair type: 4a/4b The shampoo kinda has a thicker aloe Vera gel texture. I don't think it's particularly moisturizing or drying*. It smells my hair smell good, it lathers well, and my hair feels clean but not striped clean, which is what I would expect from a non-clarifying shampoo. The smell of this line is very tropical and gives island vibes. I can't get enough of the smell. I recommend!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] To start off I have type 4 color treated hair so my number one requirements for shampoos is good slip so that i can detangle before starting my conditioner. Basically meaning I like shampoos that leave my hair feeling soft before i condition unlike the ones that leave your hair feeling dry until you condition. It also smells really good and has an amazing lather
