L'Oréal Hyaluron Tint Lip Stain Serum

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I wanted to love this product but unfortunately it's just not working for me. I'm not sure if it's just this shade or if they all perform like this, but the product applies in a way that's very patchy and uneven. I took 2 pictures, one with flash and one without so you can see what I mean. I don't love the applicator either. Also, this may just be me, but it stung the slightest bit upon application, although the sensation subsided quickly. Overall, I like the idea of this lip stain but I think it's a miss.

It has a weird scent at first. The applicator holds a lot of product. It is nice if you like to use a lot of product but I tend to wipe it off on the sides. The tint has a smooth texture. It doesn't feel weird like other tints do from some other brands. It feels like a nice watery gloss almost? It didn't feel tacky. It didn't feel drying. It didn't feel heavy. I do wish it had a longer staying power? I have other lip tints that last longer but they aren't as comfortable as this one. I put it on in the beginning of my shift and it stays on until I wiped it off with a napkin accidentally when I was eating. The color is cute and I think it was a nice everyday color for me. It is a lip product that I will be keeping in my purse and will reach for of then because it is comfortable to wear and does not dry out my lips.

The formula goes on silky smooth and feels lightweight on the lips. The applicator comes to a precise point, making it easy to get even, clean coverage all over without any mess. The color is beautiful—just the right balance of pinkish maroon. It's not too bold, but it adds the perfect amount of color for an everyday look or a dressed-up moment. I also love that there's no taste at all, which is a big plus for me. The packaging is gorgeous as well. The matte finish on the bottom paired with the shiny gold top looks elegant and high-end. Overall, this lip stain delivers great color, comfort, and style, and I would definitely recommend it.

The texture went on smooth and I love that the applicator has a pointy end to it to get in the corners and act like a lipliner. The color was a little lighter when I first applied it to my lips but does take a few minutes before it dries down completely. The color changed a little bit after the dry down which was less nude and more pink. When it dried down I noticed my lips starting to feel really dry. The lip balm underneath didn't help it. Sadly this product is a no for me. I thought it would be more hydrating as claimed.

Instead of wearing nothing, this gives my lips some definition & a little shine. The pointed brush makes it easy to neatly put it on my lips. It feels thick & hydrating at first, then dries down to a tacky to the touch finish. I usually put it on in the morning & later in the day, because it wears off with eating & drinking. Overall, I like the texture & its natural enhancement.
