I've been using Nexxus Therappe for close to 20 years. I loved it because it was thick, lathered well, and smelled fantastic. It made my hair soft and shiny. Not the original!
It has been several years and I'm still angry Nexxus changed this formula and RUINED this shampoo and conditioner line!!! This used to be a cult classic holy grail for moisture and body and healhty hair. The fragrance was an added bonus! Then they took a perfect thing and added Keratin—which is known to cause breakage and dry out hair—-you can read about it that on any peer reviewed data source. And the fragrance was alteredband smells terrible. This was once an amazing product and now its waste water. Give us back the original formulas!!! When will your company listen to your cospnsumers? Look at the online forums. There are threads all over about this.

I remember going to the salon and smelling the shampoo and winding what it was when I got home. I didn't think to look up at the bottles but I knew that smell. I searched and found this, this was the smell of the shampoo and conditioner that made my frizzy, thick and dry hair so soft! I've been using it for years. The price is unbeatable in comparison to others that do the same. The scent is clean and not over whelming. Smells so so so good. I've got wavy/curly hair that can be dry at times. This adds the moisture I need on my ends especially and makes my hair so soft. I love that this formula is thick so a little goes a long way. I only need to buy the 33 ounce bottles twice per year pretty much! Versus drug store shampoos that you need to use a lot of and goes so fast. In the long run you spend more getting the stuff that's cheaper and it shows in your hair too. A few pumps of this and I've got a full leather from my scalp to my mids and ends. I just pull it through. I don't scrub the ends. The conditioner detangles and softens so quickly. I brush it through with my fingers and then my wide tooth comb. I love this stuff. Tried and true! Works well, smells great and lasts a long time! Coming from someone with super thick hair that's half way down their back, being able to only use four pumps of this shampoo is amazing. Even less of the conditioner! Highly recommend!

my holy grail
i have used this product since i was 17, and i am now 19. i have ventured out and used other products, such as moroccanoil, but each time, i always come back to this one. it's a classic staple and makes my thick, wavy-curly hair feel moisturized and silky. the only con i have about this product is that it does cause buildup overtime, so a clarifying shampoo would definitely benefit if you use this product (i have normal porosity hair as well). i highly recommend this product to everyone that has type 2-3 hair. it has saved me a million times and each time i pick up a different shampoo bottle, i always come back to this one.
