Step 1: Scoop out a dime-sized amount of makeup melting balm with the included spatula and massage onto dry skin.
Step 2: Moisten fingertips and continue to massage into the skin using circular motions. For makeup removal, apply all over carefully ensuring eyes are closed and watch your makeup melt away!
Step 3: Rinse with water or remove with a warm damp cleansing cloth.

So basically, I decided to wear a new mascara and when it was time to take it off, it was not budging. Micellar water didn't work. Not even castor oil. I tried multiple different makeup removers and this is the ONLY thing that worked and it took 5 seconds, not even. My eyes were so sore and red from rubbing and trying so many other removers but this did the job so easily. ELF YOU SAVED MY LIFE😩😩

best first step for a double cleanse
I love this!! it's the first cleansing balm I've ever used and I don't see the need to try others. my skin feels so soft after using it. the only downside is that it doesn't easily melt off my mascara (not waterproof), but I don't really mind because my cleanser gets everything it missed washed off

this melts your makeup off so easy without being too harsh. love it and will rather use this than makeup wipes.
Works, but not the best
I will say it does remove all of my eye makeup, but there is a lot of massaging involved. I remove it in the shower and use a pad to wipe clean. I found that it really makes my eyes dry afterwards, which I've not experienced before. It's a good price point, but I probably won't purchase again.
