    Magical!

I am seriously loving this satin curling rod. I have long mid-back length color treated hair. My hair holds a curl fairly easily but mostly falls out by the end of the day even with setting spray. I'm trying to use less products and heat tools on my hair to keep it healthier. I ordered this satin cu...

I have tried to use the satin curling set three times so far. Unfortunately, my hair has not turned out looking anything like in the videos I've watched or the reviews I read. However, it might be user error. I have quite thick hair that is medium length. (I have not yet tried using special curling ...

Showing 16 out of 13 Questions
    Q
I usually apply a curl product to my damp hair before air drying or using a diffuser. Do I skip that step when using this?
    Asked by Kristin
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
No need to skip it! Apply your curl cream or mousse to damp hair as usual, then wrap sections around the rod. Just avoid heavy products that could slow drying time. Let hair dry completely before removing the rod for best results. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Can you use this product on locs?
    Asked by Queen2U
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
It’s not ideal for locs. This set is designed to wrap loose hair around a satin rod to create curls or waves, which works best on straight, wavy, or loosely textured hair. For locs, the structure and thickness make it difficult to properly wrap and secure around the rod, so you may not get the intended results. It also won’t define curls in the same way it does on loose strands. We recommend you to use Kitsch Flexi Rods instead. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
What is the diamiter? Will it make looser curls or tighter curls?
    Asked by Ana
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
The curling rod measures 1" in diameter and 19" long, while the scrunchies measures 3.5" in diameter. Was this answer helpful to you

    Q
Do I need to apply hairspray for the curls to set properly?
    Asked by Anna Kate
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
You do not need to apply hairspray for the curls to set properly. You can leave it on for 4 hours or overnight to achieve the perfect curls. However, if you would like the curls to last longer, you may use hairspray. Was this answer helpful to you
    Q
Would these work on short/medium length hair? My hair is about collar bone length, would these work for my length?
    Asked by Zo
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
Yes! Our satin heatless curling set works on short, medium, and long hair. For hair around collarbone length, you can still create beautiful curls and waves — you may just need to adjust how tightly you wrap your hair around the rods for the best results. Was this answer helpful to you

    Q
Does my hair need to be damp or can i use it on already air dried hair?
    Asked by VV
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
It depends on your hair type, but we always recommend wrapping your hair while damp (80% dry) for the best results! However, we have found that some people get better results if wrapped on dry hair, so we recommend testing it a couple of ways to find your perfect routine. Was this answer helpful to you

    Asked by DonnaC
Official Answer By KITSCH - Brand Engage
Absolutely! The Satin Heatless Curling Set works well on long, fine hair. To use it effectively, start with clean, dry hair, consider using a lightweight styling product for better hold, divide your hair into sections, wrap them around the satin-covered curling rods, and leave them in overnight for the curls to set. In the morning, remove the rods gently, style your curls, and use hairspray if needed! Was this answer helpful to you
