The Best Root Touch Up Powder
I love this root cover, It goes on so easily, the coverage is immediate and also it lasts until you wash it out, It looks realistic. I use it with my light hair to create a slight shadow root, for dimension. Great for brows too!

This is a holy grail for me. I have dark strawberry blonde hair naturally and although my hair is relatively thick my hairline has really thinned out over the years due to hypothyroidism. This product has absolutely saved the day. It makes me hairline look SO much thicker and I can actually fill in to lower my hairline as well without it being noticeable at all.

is the talc used in this product free from carcinogens ?

Purified cosmetic grade talc is the only talc that is permitted in any products since 1973, so there is no danger from this. The Great Cover Up Root Touch Up and Brow Filler uses many binding and ‘wetting’ agents which make the product dust-free and minimize any dangers from inhalation. Though manufacturer claims this talc is sourced from purified food asbestos, are you able to provide 3rd party testing results for this? Does it even go through 3rd party testing? Why isnt it noted in product details that it is from purified asbestos for transparency?

Purified cosmetic grade talc is the only talc permitted in any products since 1973 and is asbestos free. Where there appears to be a concern is when talc is applied to sensitive areas.
