Still figuring it out
I've always wanted this curling iron and I will say, it runs smoothly in your hair. It doesn't get caught like some others. However, it promotes 5x less breakage, and since using it, my hair has seen more breakage. I use the same heat level, sometimes less, that I use on my other hot tools. My curls also won't hold, unlike other tools. Not sure what it is but this isnt a cheap tool!

Ok, so you know how people also refer to things as "better than sex" I'm always like whatever idk who your doing it with but there's no way, well…. This curling iron fits that description! I just received mine today, i really didn't have time to do my hair before work, but i had to try it. I got home from the gym with damp hair from showering there (i have super thick, curly, somewhat long hair). My hair typically takes at least an hour to do on wash days. Also, i think it's important to mention i use Dyson hair products, airwrap and airstraight. I've never loved the way my airwrap curls my hair, and feel like it holds my curls too tight, and leaves it looking dry and frizzy. So with 45 minutes to do my full hair and makeup routine i took a chance. I dried it with my airwrap then curled it with this AMAZING curling iron, still learning so, I'm sure with practice i will love this even more. But i was able to completely dry, curl and even finish my makeup in 45 minutes!!! This thing glides thru my hair like nothing I've ever experienced, it was soooo satisfying! My only complaint, which ironically is also one of my favorite things is that if I'm not extremely careful about keeping the ends on the clip while I'm twirling, my hair would slip right off. So, i highly recommend this hair tool. Pricey, but worth it! This my my holy grail, and my daughter wants to steal it from me, i told her i will fight her over if she tries.
Wouldn't hold a curl
This did not work for me. It would not hold my curl. To be fair, I'm in the beginning of learning how to use a curling iron. I can make curls with a flat iron, but have issues otherwise. I will be returning this.

The Bio Ionic is far superior than my other curling irons. It holds my hair in place better while curling and makes my hair smoother (less frizz). I love it!

This brand is exceptional. I have the hairdryer and I bought the 1.25 long barrel curling iron, I absolutely love it. Such good quality worth every penny.
