I tested the hot cocoa shade, which shows up on my lips as sort of a brownish-pinky nude. It's a little bit buildable, but mostly it dries down to a very sheer hue. I've been loving the Estée Lauder Glossy Lip Oil in Maple Syrup lately. It feels ultra-smooth and moisturizing without being sticky, and the subtle glossy finish is gorgeous. The shade is warm and flattering, and it gives just enough shine for a polished look without needing a full lipstick. My lips feel soft, hydrated, and a little pampered whenever I wear it.

Let me start by noting that I am a lip product junkie! It's my favorite category of makeup, and I have 100++ products in my collection. The Estee Lauder Glossy Lip Oil is seriously one of the BEST lippies I have tried! It's not overly shiny - similar to a balm with some sheen - but the feel and texture is amazing! It's so comfortable to wear - not sticky or slippery - and offers long-lasting hydration. I have the color Hot Cocoa, and while I generally do not select browns, I'd classify this as a "nude" and the perfect overlay for most lips colors. The product smelled yummy and the packaging was nice. The lip oil felt moisturizing and added a nice shine to my lips. I personally didn't find it very tinted on my lips and it did last only a few hours as expected with any other lip oils. I got this lip oil in the shade apricot nectar. As someone with dry lips, I always lean toward lip oil products and was really excited to try this one! It is super moisturizing, leaves a nice, glossy sheen on my lips, and smells like marshmallows. It applies sheer, but you can add more coats for more color. Would recommend trying!
