Decently hydrating, packaging could use some work
I tested the hot cocoa shade, which shows up on my lips as sort of a brownish-pinky nude. It's a little bit buildable, but mostly it dries down to a very sheer hue. This is a nice lip gloss. I tried 3 colors and they were all beautiful and natural looking flush of color. It's not a sticky gloss at all.the only thing bad is the color doesn't last at all. There is no long staying power in this gloss. You have to reapply it after only about 30 minutes.

This lip oil is so underrated! I have it in Strawberry Milk, Hot Cocoa and Rose Water and cannot get enough. It's so hydrating and really not sticky. Bought 5 for holiday gifts for my family and girlfriends!!

Lip oil is phenomenal but...
I am a gloss girl. I love gloss and lip oils. For this lip oil The formula is spot on. I only need a little bit to get the great moisturizing effects, more gives the swash of light color I want. 2 full swipes will give me the glossy coverage i like. It feels light to me, not globby messy sticky.ive felt with other brands. I like that it works very well as a lip moisturizer over being a shiny pigmented goopy, juicy gloss . It lasts for a good amount of time considering its a lip oil and not a lip stain. I like the the melon sorbet color best. The thing that could use improvement are the flavor or scent. My husband likes the whisper of marshmallow and would consider not complaining about getting it his face if there was a smidgen more marshmallow. I also would consider more review on the packaging tube or length of the wand. I like the snap closure very much and the applicator foot is perfect for the viscosity of the product but when I unscrew the product(not lift the wand out) there is at least 4 cms to 5 cms of unmoving, unreachable , unmixable product at the bottom . That is at least a good 20 to 30 percent of product stuck down there. I've seen much better tube designs on the market addressing this issue. At this price point I want to be able to use at least 90% of the total product.
